Just Us

Hi friends, this little section of our website is going to be dedicated just for us. Us Quilters. So, what is this going to be? It is going to be a place for us to talk and exchange ideas and hints and techniques. Just email me with an idea, technique or hint that you want to share with our fellow friends quilters and I will add it to this section. Do you have to have your name publish on this section? No only if you want to otherwise it will not be published. So let's create a circle of friends and exchange ideas or thoughts among us quilters.

NEWS: We have added two more exciting places in the life of Quilts n Gifts in Bluffton, Indiana,,,,and they are....our very own Facebook page. Yes, you can become a fan/friend of us at Quilts n Gifts on Facebook.

We also have a blog now. You can go to www.quiltsngifts.blogspot.com and you can join us on our ongoing conversation. We are also posting pictures and we strongly encourage your comments and feedback. Looking forward to seeing you soon, mary

SWEET PICKIN’S CLUB……

This is a new and exciting club that we will be starting this fall. This program will work in three (3) months at a time meeting once a month. Every three months you will receive 3 newsletters, three exclusive patterns and three extra projects. The extras are either challenges or small projects.

The newsletters will give you recipes, sewing tips and info of tools/gadgets that works well for quilting. Before I continue, the meetings or get together as we call them better will not be infomercial meetings. What does that mean? No item will be pushed to you to buy. This is going to be another fun group for us to share our knowledge and the love for quilting and fabric.  Now I shall continue.

The patterns are going to be a variety of things, such as wall hangings, table runners, and bags. The patterns will use charm squares (start cutting some 5” squares), fat ¼’s and honey buns (save those 1 ½” strips). The patterns might have some variety of techniques, such as templates or embroidery (not all of them).

The challenges will be once per three month period. This will be a lot of fun and they will make you stretch your creativity. If you choose not to do the challenge is ok too.

For members of the Sweet Pickin’s Club will be a special blog where postings of our projects and challenges across the good old USA will be posted and you will be given the private ID and password.

Now, isn’t this a lot of fun. I think so. Ok, you are asking how much it is to belong to this exclusive club. Membership for three months is $5.00. Membership for the whole year is $20.00. Club will start in September but you can start signing up today.

We will start Sweet Pickins on September but if you go to Florida, Texas, Arizona etc. for the winter months and you do not want to miss the fun we can mail it for you.
